NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

I don't know about you, but I think I gained ten pounds over the holidays. It's great to be with all the relatives and see how big the kids are getting. Have you made any New Years Resolutions? The number one resolution - Lose Weight. Fortunately the YMCA and Curves are running specials to help us with that one. I love working out in Paris. It is quick and easy to park and get in and out; much faster than when I used to drive to Lexington - ugghh! Another thing we all do in January is return all those not quite right gifts, and shop for bargains. There are some great bargains here in Paris. Whatever you are looking for, check out Paris first. We have some really neat antique stores, from high end, gorgeous pieces, to items for the budget conscious shopper. There are too many antique stores to list them all here. If you enjoy antiques, Paris is the place to come. We have a lot more downtown than antiques. We have several interesting gifts shops where you can find deals on all sorts of things. I got the cutest purse at Horne's of the Bluegrass. Varden's is great for something unusual at an affordable price. Spivey's offers all kinds of sporting goods, and we have a new gift basket shop; Myka's Gift Baskets and Kia's Creations.
