ARTWALK FUN

Once again, on April 24, Paris hosted the ARTWALK. The Downtown was packed with people enjoying the over 50 artists, whose work was on display in stores and businesses through-out Downtown Paris. There were a lot of interesting pieces with quite a variety: children's artwork, oil paintings, native-american art, photography, folk art, pottery, pastels and sketches - and that doesn't even cover it all. The food was worthy of artistic mention too! The weather was beautiful and the streets were crowded with people out enjoying themselves. Several restaurants offered specials for the day and live music. Even those who don't consider themselves art enthusiasts enjoyed shopping and visiting with friends. The next ARTWALK is planned for Friday evening, July 17,2009 5:00 - 8:00pm
